Pre-Lesson(Google Docs Presentation)
For my lesson I used Google Docs Presentation. I was excited to use this with my students because they are so used to using the same type of technology in their classroom. My teacher always introduces her math lessons with envision math which is the curriculum that our school uses. I found a powerpoint, and switched it up a little and created it under Google Docs Presentation. I was excited and nervous to see the students reaction. I figured since it was new they would not get out of hand. I have a very talkative classroom so I figured if I tried something different they would enjoy it.

I used a Google doc presentation as well. I have kindergarten and it went better than I had imagined. What grade do you have? I bet they will have fun watching the changes being made on the presentation. Unfortunately, when I did my lesson, there was some serious lag time. You might want to test that out before your lesson because it ruined the awe aspect of mine. I really wanted the kids to see that one kid could edit something on his computer and another student could see it on their own computer. I hope your lesson goes as smoothly as possible.
ReplyDeleteI have a second grade classroom, and they loved it so much! They like interacting with the computer, and presentations on the computer are like gold to them! They had a lot of fun with it!
